CUZZO
Born and raised in north Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Cuzzo's musical journey started with a pen and a beat made from his fist bumping against his school desk. By the age of thirteen, he was creating his own beats on a laptop and rapping over them. Now 21 years old, Cuzzo has evolved into a multi-talented artist, overseeing the majority of production, recording, mixing, and creative direction for all his projects.
Cuzzo's music serves as his therapy, with the microphone always there to vent to. His reflective and introspective style is heavily influenced by artists like Mac Miller, Isaiah Rashad, and Mick Jenkins. In 2023, he hosted his first concert, showcasing local talent in front of 120 people. By early 2024, he was performing at Union Hall, one of the most esteemed venues in his city.

What sets Cuzzo apart from other rappers is his comprehensive oversight of all aspects of music creation and his deep love for his hometown of Edmonton and its culture. He isn't afraid to be vulnerable in his music, aiming to resonate with the common struggles of growing up on the north side of Edmonton.
Following the release of his latest single and music video "SKRESSED," Cuzzo is gearing up to drop one more single before releasing his debut mixtape, "Therapy in Music," this August (2024). His goal as an artist is to inspire the youth and his peers in Edmonton to embrace their creative expression, regardless of the reception. Cuzzo believes in speaking his truth and sharing his story, confident that his people will find him. He emphasises the importance of taking pride in one's hometown, as you only get one.

Cuzzo's message is clear: It only takes one person to change the world, but you have to start with the world around you.
